The trapeze shaped soundbox with gilt moulding around the edges and finials at the corners, the soundbox decorated with musicians and floral motifs set with two gilt roses, the sides decorated with musical trophies, twenty-three courses, one double and twenty-two quadruple with two bridges and two possibly later ivory hammers, on later gilt stand with square tapered legs headed with gilt capitals joined by concave stretchers
