With browned twist octagonal sighted barrels each engraved 'Gun-Maker to his Majesty.' along the top flat, case-hardened patent breeches each with gold-lined maker's stamp, gold line and platinum-lined touch-hole, case-hardened tangs each incorporating a back-sight and engraved with a trophy of arms and foliage, case-hardened signed flat bevelled locks each engraved with two further trophies of arms and foliage, and each with 'French' cock, semi-rainproof pan, roller, safety-catch and stepped tail, figured walnut full stocks (minor damage), chequered butts, engraved blued steel mounts including trigger-plates with pineapple finials, original horn-tipped ramrods each with worm, and much original finish
