With rebrowned twist sighted barrels signed in full on the rib, case-hardened patent breeches engraved with a scallop at the centre and each with pierced platinum plug, reblued scroll engraved tang, signed scroll engraved serial numbered locks, blued scroll engraved serial numbered safety-bar behind the trigger-guard, figured walnut half-stock, chequered grip, scroll engraved iron mounts, vacant silver escutcheon, and original brass-tipped ramrod with worm: in associated relined and refitted mahogany case (repaired, lock and lid escutcheon missing) with a powder-flask and a shot-flask each by Hawksley, London proof marks
