With blued octagonal sighted barrel and top-strap, the latter engraved with scrollwork and the retailer's name and address 'Tho.s. Williams. South. Castle. St. Liverpool.', case-hardened cylinder, bright scroll engraved patent rammer, blued scroll engraved frame and trigger-guard, blued arbor pin, arbor pin catch and cylinder locking lever, chequered walnut butt, scroll engraved pommel, and much original finish (trigger-return spring defective): in original fitted mahogany case lined in green baize with accessories including Dixon flask, and brass bullet mould, the exterior with vacant circular brass escutcheon, Birmingham proof marks
