Peter Carl Faberg produced some of the most beautiful objets of this century. His Easter eggs for Tsars Alexander III and Nicholas II - amongst the most exquisite examples of his craft - are celebrated worldwide. The master's guilloch enamelling was so finely executed and sought after, that many of the great European jewellers, such as Cartier and Lacloche, sought to imitate him.
