white enamel dial signed E. Beckmann, London & Sydney, Roman numerals, subsidiary seconds at 9 with two hands, a button in the band allowing one hand to be halted at will, blued steel hands, signed and numbered three quarter plate frosted gilt movement with Nicole Nielsen winding, bimetallic compensation balance, numbered case with applied blue Roman chapter ring, snap on back with London marks for 1861, case maker's initials AN, diameter 50mm.
