A Vauxhall stoneware named and dated Royal portrait mug
with ribbed strap handle, moulded with a quarter-length portrait of Queen Anne within an oval panel between the name Edward Venden above the date 1722, applied with a hunting scene, the rim inscribed This Is to the Pious memory of Queen Ann (sic.), 1722 (rim chips) -- 20.7cm. high
