Three Staffordshire pottery nursery plates
printed with vignettes titled THE SENTINEL, THE LITTLE JOCKEY and CAT AND KITTENS, each within borders moulded with the inscription ALBERT EDWARD PRINCE OF WALES BORN Nov 9 1841, impressed crown marks, circa 1841 (some minor flakes to rim) -- 19cm. diam.; another plate moulded with a similar inscription to the border, printed in sepia with a vignette of guardian angels watching over a sleeping child, inscribed (some staining) -- 19.5cm. diam.; and another nursery dish with a similar inscription printed with a vignette titled NOW I'M GRANDMOTHER (star crack and rim chip) -- 18cm. diam.
