VERY SCARCE IN COLOURED STATE, this limited edition photogravure is based on the large oil painting by Wortley which was commissioned by the M.C.C. by means of subcription in 1888-90. The scene is Lord's Ground with the old tennis court in the backgound, now the site of the Mound Stand. Art of Cricket 138; Pageant of Cricket p. 186.
