An Italian carved tabernacle frame, parts 16th Century,
the architrave with running recessed tongue motif; plain entablature with a block to either side, each with a raised embossed roundel; pilasters to the sides with protruding bracket volutes above triglyphs and recessed overlapping concave tongues; the sight edge arched, with symmetrical motifs to the spandrels -- 15.5/8 x 10 x 3.1/8-6.1/8in. (39.6 x 27.3 x 8-15.5cm.)
