The circular brass dial applied with individual white enamel Roman cartouche chapters (hairline crack to XI) and outside engraved minutes, foliate cast centre and blued steel hands, the twin barrel movement with verge escapement and silk suspension with cycloidal cheeks, countwheel on the backplate signed Huv (?) Paris, striking on a later bell rising from the later seatboard, now supported on brass rods to a variegated yellow marble plinth; later plastic cover
