The rectangular case surmounted by a bronze model of a recumbent greyhound, on moulded base with brass feet, later rear door, the white enamel Roman dial (restored) with gilt metal moon hands, a silvered panel below with twin recessed dials within gilt bezels for date and day of week resepctively, gilt arrow pointers, the twin barrel movement with countwheel strike on bell to the backplate stamped for LEBLANC BOULOGNE, with trip to calendar work below with weighted balance; the calendar work possibly associated
