carved on an opaque white ground with a scholar and boy beside butterflies and animals, all within ring handles, amethyst quartz stopper -- 2in. (6.4cm.) high; and a green overlay glass bottle, decorated on an opaque white ground with an Immortal standing beside plantain and a figure seated at a window overlooking a garden, rose quartz stopper -- 2in. (5.7cm.) high, 19th Century.
