with karashishi finial, painted and gilt with warriors, dignitaries and ladies seated in a pavilion overlooking a mountainous landscape, the reverse with bijin and children at leisure on a terrace overlooking a flowering garden, all on a dark blue ground with moulded panels, reserved in gilt with floral and geometric designs -- 18in. (47cms) high, (gilt rubbing), signed Kinkozan sei.
