(75.5cm.) long body-tube with rack and pinion focusing, object glass dust cap, extension body-tube, five eyepieces, raised on a compass joint and tapering pillar support and folding tripod stand, the cabriole legs terminating in pad feet, with maker's trade label and printed instruction leaflet by S. Couchman, Throgmorton Street, London, with additional manuscript instructions, in fitted mahogany case -- 31in. (78.8cm.) long
