EAST CAUCASUS, DATED AH 1282/1865 AD
The ivory field with an overall lattice each panel containing an angular polychrome flowering plant, the light blue stepped floral keel-arch containing an ivory ground mihrab arch above with similar lattice vine enclosing flowering plants surrounded by jewellery motifs and inscribed, dated 1282, in a brick-red border of polychrome hooked and linked leaf-motifs between indigo flowerhead and Z-motif stripes, outer reciprocal skittle-pattern and mill-pattern stripes, areas of negligible localised wear and slight damage
