A pair of famille rose turquoise ground crocus vases
with lotus bud necks and lobed reticulated bodies, painted with shaped panels of birds and butterflies amongst peonies and blossoming prunus, all on grounds reserved with scrolling foliage, the shoulders with ruyi shaped panels of further peony flowers and leaves -- 13in. (34.3cm.) high, underglaze blue Qianlong four-character marks, 19th Century.
