A Royal Worcester reticulated vase
by George Owen, of globular form with a slender neck, applied with two bearded mask and scroll handles, moulded with masks below the rim above pierced vertical bands, the collar pierced and moulded with foliage, the body pierced with honeycomb and openwork bands, supported by a pierced domed foot, enriched in pale-blue on a pale-ivory ground, with raised gilt ornament, shape 1552, puce mark, date code for 1893 (some flaking to the gilding on the foot) -- 27cm. high
