the can painted with a shepherd and companion, a hound at their feet, within a chased gilt panels on a turquoise ground 'jewelled' and gilt with stylised leaves and scrolls, the saucer painted with a dove by a nest, imitation Svres marks, circa 1860 (some scratches and rubbing to gilding, some 'jewels' deficient)
