The case with stepped and glazed movement viewing panel to the top above ripple-moulded galleries (one side cornice lacking, one detached), with bevelled glass side panels, repeat button to right side and front door lock to the left, (section of veneer lacking to top of rear door), above bomb waist and rectangular plinth, on brass bun feet, the square gilt-brass dial engraved with foliate spandrels, the Roman chapter ring signed ARNOLD & DENT LONDON NO.410, with engine-turned centre and steel moon hands, high quality platform to underslung lever escapement with cut bimetallic balance with rating screws, with repeat signature and number to the backplate, with sliding strike/silent lever and strike/repeat on gong; with original maroon leather travel case, numbered winding key, door key and case key
