the superstructure with two drawers, open recesses and a shaped shelf with a bobbin supported gallery, above a leather cloth lined writing surface and three fielded frieze drawers, the pedestals each with three further graduated drawers and plinth bases, bearing a silver metal plaque inscribed Congregational Church Grays Presented to the Rev. C.H.Davis by the Congregation of the above church as a slight token of their esteem and respect on the resignation of his Pastorate October 1897 -- 48in. (122cm.) wide
