A ROMAN CAMEO GLASS FRAGMENT
circa early 1st century a.d.
From a footed plate, with opaque white on cobalt blue, preserving part of the tondo with a nude woman, perhaps a nymph, standing on an area of ground with her weight on her left leg, her right leg bent at the knee, her legs in profile, her torso turned three-quarter frontal, holding the foot of a vessel her her right hand, part of the enclosing plain band to the left and below
