2o (299 x 232 mm). Title printed in red and black, full-page woodcut of English Tudor royal arms on verso of title, woodcut printer's device [McKerrow 9] on verso of final leaf, woodcut initials. (Lacking final blank 2F4, repairs at gutters of first two leaves and to several leaves in quire M, mostly marginal but affecting a few letters on each of 15 lines on M6, slight dampstaining and browning to a few leaves, mostly marginal, occasional minor worming). 19th-century quarter vellum, marbled boards, earlier morocco lettering piece preserved, g.e (back cover faded, spine slightly soiled, minor wear to board ends. Provenance: (contemporary Latin inscription on title); Gorton de Warmsworth (contemporary ownership inscription in French on last page); inscription on title and verso of 2F3 and occasional marginalia (most cropped) in an early hand.
