8o (148 x 85 mm). 87 leaves. Brown inks. Ashkenazic semi-cursive scripts. (Somewhat browned, soiled and thumbed, fol. 5v slightly cropped, otherwise good condition.) Modern blind and gold-tooled red morocco, two modern paper flyleaves at back and front.
CONTENTS:
I. Fols. 1r-32v: text, probably copied from one of the printed editions. Fol. 32v: colophon.
II. Fols. 33rv: note on pronunciation of vowels in a different hand.
III. Fols. 34r-87v: commentary on Job (up to 20:18) with the Biblical text (to 18:12). The author translates a few words into German. The latest authority quoted is Simeon Duran, Sefer Ohev Mishpat, printed in 1589 (fol. 34v; Vinograd, Thesaurus, p. 258, no. 731).
First printed with Levita's commentary in Rome 1545 (Vinograd, Thesaurus, p. 659, no. 17).
