Maker's mark of S. Kirk & Son, 11oz.; circa 1880-1890
Comprising compressed circular teapot, covered urn form sugar basin and baluster cream jug, each on spreading circular base, the base, sides and covers all chased with continuous flowering foliage on matted ground, one side with monogrammed oval cartouche, the teapot with ram's mask applied angular handle, foliate matted scroll spout, the hinged slightly raised cover topped by cast foliate finial, the teapot--8in. (20.9cm.) high, gross weight 59oz. (3)
