Inverted pear form with waisted neck, on raised circular base, with acanthus canopy above, the base, lower body, shoulder and neck repousse in high relief with running grape clusters, linked by vine and divided by varying flowers, with punched bead bordered bowed band between, the mid section animatedly repousse and chased with scenes of lion and tiger hunts, rampaging elephants, lion fights, porcupine, traveling and other figures, similar scenes on the raised cover, all on finely matted ground, with two serpent handles, the cover topped by monkey diety standing on a dome--25in. (63.5cm.) high, 233oz.
