A GEORGE III SILVER TEAPOT
London, 1775, maker's mark of Thomas Wallis overstriking another
Drum form, engraved one side with crest, the other with large coat-of-arms hanging from tied ribbon and enclosed by crossed floral fronds, motto below, with wood loop handle and straight spout, the collar engraved with bellflower band, the detachable rising cover topped by wood button finial--marked under base and on cover flange-- 4in. (12cm.) high, gross weight 12.5oz.
