"The start of Bulgari's success in the area of watch-making dates back to the late 1940s and coincides with the period in which the house began to sell snake wristwatches, with gold coils wrapping around the arm and a gem-studded head concealing the watch face. "L'inizio del successo di Bulgari nel campo dell'orologeria risale alla fine degli anni Quaranta e coincide con il momento in cui la casa cominci a vendere quei bracciali-orologio a forma di serpente le cui spire d'oro si avvolgevano attorno al braccio, con la testa incrostata di gemme che celava il quadrante.(...)
