Painted with two large panels of the hunting party, showing the pursuit on one side and the treeing of the fox on the other, bamboo and flowering vine-edged panels of birds and blossoms in between, all on a Y-patterned ground, the interior with a large pheasant hunting vignette and an elaborate border around the rim (hairline, some rim restoration)--16in.
