1829 (10 June) letter from Sir Francis Freeling in London, to Sir Hilgrove Turner, Lieut.-General and Governor of Bermuda, increasing the salary of the Deputy Postmaster-General, and expressing the hope that James Taylor, who had resigned due to the inadequacy of the salary, would now agree to return, and accompanied by 1829 (27 Aug.) letter from James Taylor to the Governor accepting the position of Deputy Postmaster-General of Bermuda, at the increased salary.
