Specialist note

The annual medal for 1660 shows the courtyard of the Sapienza (University) built by Giocomo della Porta (completed c.1602), and in an unpromising site in the angle of two buildings, the University chapel (consecrated 6 November 1660), with its dome by Francesco Borromini.
