PHILADELPHIA, 1740-1750
In two sections: the upper case with bonnet-top and cove molded cornice centering three tiered finials over three and two short drawers above three graduated long drawers flanked by chamfered fluted pilasters; the lower case with applied mid-molding above a dressing slide and one long drawer over three short drawers flanked by chamfered fluted pilasters above an elaborately shaped apron, on acanthus carved cabriole legs with volute carved returns and ball-and-claw feet, (finials not original)--87in. high, 42in. wide, 22½in. deep
