A pair of german white-painted fauteuils
Late 18th Century
Each with oval padded back, arms and drop-in seat covered in crimson velvet decorated with flower-heads, the toprail centred by a ribbon-tie, the arms with scrolling terminals and panelled supports, the panelled seat-rail centred by a roundel, on circular tapering fluted legs terminating in toupie feet, with inventory stamp SS beneath a crown, minor restorations, redecorated, with traces of previous gilding (2)
