Crossbanded in satinwood and inlaid with ebony and fruitwood lines, the rectangular moulded cornice above a pair of geometrically-glazed doors, the base with a secretaire frieze drawer, the hinged fall-front with a writing-surface to the reverse, enclosing a fitted interior with six small drawers and five variously-sized open compartments, above two short drawers and two long drawers, on splayed feet, restorations
