The scally-banded case inlaid with flower-sprays, the glazed lenticle overlaid with a brass figure of Father Time, the hood with panels painted with land and sea scapes and with acanhus clasp, the top with carved giltwood figural finials, the brass chapter ring with roman and arabic chapters and with date ring, pierced brass hands, the centre painte with a town view, and brass alarm ring, pierced brass spandrels with winged cherub's masks, surmounted by an arch with moonphase with painted rolling moon, the five pillar movement with rack strike on two bells above
