A Dutch colonial silver-mounted sirihcasket
Apparently unmarked, former Dutch East Indies, second half 18th Century
On four floral ball feet, the corners fitted with floral and plain mounts, swing handles (one later), the simulated lookplate and central plaque on cover with similar floral design, silver hinges, chain and four floral nails to the cover, containing three globular floral boxes, a leafvase, chalk container with spatula and partly iron tongs
