The movement by Pieter Klock (Uithoorn 1665-Amsterdam 1744), the case late 18th Century
The case with canted angles and a spreading concave plinth on square tapering legs, the rectangular trunk door with converted angles inlaid with a chequered band, the hood with soundfrets and triangular broken pediment, headed by giltwood pinnacle finials, the dial signed Pieter Klok, Amsterdam on the silvered chapter ring with roman and arabic chapters, pierced hands, the matted and graved centre with three winding holes, silvered second ring and date aperture, the arch with a moonphase with painted rolling moon, an automaton sailing vessel and with indicator for ten tunes, the six pilar movement with strike on two bells, the music on a brass cylinder and eleven bells, adapted, restorations, case and movement associated
