A VERY RARE EPHEMERAL ITEM, PRINTED IN THE ARCTIC.

The Resolute's band of Thespians included George Strong Nares (1831-1915) in the part of Lady Clara. He served as mate on the present expedition, but went on to command the Challenger on its famous hydrographic voyage, and was later recalled from this command to head the 1875 Arctic Expedition aboard HMS Alert.
