A brass and oxidised metal solar photometer [circa 1901-1910], with rack adjustment and graduated shade (Crookes glass), designed for screw attachment to another instrument (telescope?). 5in. (14cm.) long.

[With:]
A mercury, glass and metal alloy sterilising thermometer [circa 1901-1910], the thermometer within an outer protective glass cylinder (broken), all within an outer protective cylinder of metal alloy with a ring attachment at one end. 5in. (14cm.) long; A brass universal mount for a plane table. 3in. (8cm.) long; and a small key, all in a waxed cardboard box.
