Tasting note: Nose "cool", vanilla and pineapple, opening up fabulously; medium-sweet, full-bodied, assertive, rich, full of fruit. Spicy, cloves, new oak taste and aftertaste. Tasted again just over two months after bottling. Great quality confirmed. Marvellous fruit, persistence of flavour. M.B.
