Boer War Model Soldiers Including a Drummer of the Leicestershires Two well-detailed modern models of British troops in khaki Drill Service Dress as follows: a Side Drummer of the Leicestershire Regiment, complete with drum, approximately 3in. (8cm.) high, on a varnished hardwood plinth mounted with regimental badge; and a tableau, to same scale, of two wounded soldiers: one stands, with bayonet fixed, in the attitude of "The Gentleman in Kharki", the other, shot through the knee, sprawls on the ground amid a welter of spent cartridge-cases and other abandoned equipment as he struggles to hand a round of ammunition to his comrade (2)
