Lieutenant Charles Hunt was a solicitor in civilian life and a Captain in the 4th (Militia) Battalion, Northampton Regiment. Appointed a Lieutenant in Paget's Horse on 24.2.1900, he was placed on the Imperial Yeomanry Reserve on 18.5.1901.
