Lance-Sergeant George Marsden was from Market Leighton, Yorkshire and a member of the 2nd Volunteer Battalion, East Yorkshire Regiment when he volunteered for the Imperial Yeomanry in February 1901. He served in South Africa from 13.3.1901 to the end of August 1902.
