Sold with official communications reporting, confirming and regretting the death of the recipient at Gallipoli.

Private G.E. Colk died on 31.8.1915 of wounds received in the attack on Hill 60, Gallipoli on 29.8.1915. Lieutenant Throssall of his Regiment won a V.C. on the same occasion.
