19th Century
Decorated in various coloured enamels and gilt on underglaze blue, the centre with a shaped panel depicting a large eagle perched on rockwork amidst exotic flowers and a tree, reserved on a washed-blue ground with scrollwork and stylised flower-heads separated by nine smaller panels with a bird and cherry-blossom, the reverse with peony sprays (some rubbing to the gilt)
