a fine and large tibetan bronze figure of ekadashalokeshvara

Standing in samabhanga, his principle hands in anjalimudra, the others radiating around his body in various hand postures, wearing pleated dhoti, partly engraved with scrolling and geometric motifs, the latter and shawl inlaid with silver and copper, bejewelled and set with coral and turquoise beads, his head consists of eleven faces, the most upper one missing, nine faces with serene expression, urna, partly inlaid silver eyes, aquiline nose, copper inlaid lips, elongated earlobes with circular ear rings, five leaf crown partly set with turquoise and coral beads, blue coloured hairdress, his upper head with angry expression, bulging eyes, beard and moustache, red coloured hairdress, traces of gilding
