Surmounted by a triform handle, opening to reveal six segments, inscribed on the upper surface VERITAS, CLEMENTIA, PRUDENTIA, TEMPERANTIA, JUSTITIA, CONSTANTIA, flanked by two panels of foliate engraving, the hexagonal pillar with two arches centred by two niches inset with ivory figures of Adam and Eve, on a stepped spreading foot
