Each decorated with biscuit scrolling foliage and birds on a lilac-coloured ground, surmounted by a spreading rim above a baluster neck, flanked to each side by a scrolling foliate handle, the ovoid body centred to the back and front by a cartouche of flowers in a landscape, on a pierced foliate-cast spreading base, signed to the underside M. Mozorov

Lot Essay

The Mozorov factory, based in 'Russian' Poland, was founded in the early 19th century by Michel de Mezer who changed his name into Michael Mozorov. Producing porcelain of the highest quality, the factory sold many items to both Tsar Alexander I and Alexander II, as well as to other members of the Imperial Family.
