The two fold screen enclosed in an ivory frame carved with foliate cartouches, the two recessed lacquer panels inlaid in mother of pearl, colored ivory and horn depicting songbirds beneath blossoming trees along a river, enclosed in a silver frame and set onto a diaper and foliate patterned lacquer ground, the reverse with birds flying towards a maple tree
