Each surmounted by a ribbon-tied oval inset with a green jasperware plaque depicting a pair of Bacchic putti, above the circular case hung with fruit and foliate pendants, the flower-painted enamel dial signed Forest/A Paris, the twin-train movement stamped E. THOMAS/PARIS, the tapering lower section headed with a laurel festoon, above an inset foliate-engraved steel plate, on the clock inset with dials for calendar and Moon phases, and on the barometer with a mercury thermometer, the rectangular base with an acanthus and pine-cone terminal
